The darkfire bolt is a corrupted version of the normal fire bolt. Darkfire is just as hot and devastating as regular fire, but emits darkness instead of light, and is therefore popular among all kinds of shadowy magic users. Appearing as a spear of dark flame, the darkfire bolt can be fired at targets quite far away, and can do 1-46 damage (average 23). Creatures with enhanced darkvision are noticeably more sensitive to the black flames, and will suffer additional damage.
