This spell was first used by a traveler a long time ago. In his constant experiments trying to improve the performance of his portals, he inadvertently cast this spell. The spell not only destroyed the portal it was supposed to enhance, it also had disastrous effects at the destination of the portal. The spell has been perfected since, and its effects are now more controllable. It will force a portal to collapse into itself, resulting in a great explosion at the destination. This explosion does 10-80 damage to everyone present. A resting period of about three rounds is needed between castings of this spell. Since this spell requires intense concentration, it cannot be used while actively involved in combat.
