The druid is the liege of Gaea, known to most as Mother Nature. Sworn to defend her creatures, the druid is instilled with Gaea's touch. Given by nature to the druid is the power over the forces of nature itself. His spells allow him to bend these powers for great offensive and defensive feats, making him a force to be reckoned with. In some less-developed cultures, such as those of orcs and trolls, this being is known as a shaman, and concentrates his natural energies on a variety of curses to confound the enemies of his tribe.
