Psychedelia is so named because everyone in its area of effect suffers from nausea and confusion as they succumb to the vertigo-like effects of the haunting song. The melody need not even be heard, as its true effects are psychic in nature; the song only provides a focus for the spell. The spell, which damages the mind, inflicts 1-25 physical points of damage (average 13) and saps up to 15% of the victims' stamina (average 7.5%).
