The mind-searing power of the illusion named color spray can be launched at victims from a considerable distance. The rainbow-like effect contains two components of damage, raw magika and a direct assault on the target's mind. The spell has a side effect of occasionally blinding a victim, as per the blindness spell, but a victim suffering from blindness cannot see the spell and suffers damage only from the magika component of the color spray. As a result, blind players suffer only half damage. Color spray normally inflicts 1-50 points of damage (average 25).
